PhD Student Advisor / Doktorandombudsman på THS

Dear KTH PhD Students,

We understand that the PhD journey is tough and if you are here on this page, there is a chance that you are looking for some support. THS is currently in the hiring process to recruit a new Ombudsman for the doctoral students but the process does take a while.

In the meantime, we encourage you to reach out to us, the PhD Chapter Board, in regards to any challenges that you would like to get some consultation on. We have sworn for your anonymity and any discussions further will be anonymized, even during our potential internal discussions/consultations.

To make this process easier and that you could use any of our help, feel free to send us an email. We will respond to you as soon as possible, as we are also going through the same journey as you.

Health Care Services for PhD students at KTH

If you are a student at KTH and experience health issues, you can seek help from Stockholm Student Health Services. PhD students with scholarships are also covered within Stockholm student health care. In addition to offer consultations and appointments, the student health care also offers free workshops, more information can be found here.

If you are an employed PhD student and are experiencing health issues that are thought to be related to your work, you can also turn to Occupational Health Care to get help. All employees have the opportunity to visit the occupational health care, Avonova three times a year without having to notify your supervisor/head of department or someone else at KTH. The visits are according to specialist expertise and must be booked in advance, more information is available here: Occupational health care
